Service * Perseverance * Integrity * Leadership
EHP offers the SPIL It Forward Scholarship.
This Scholarship is in honor of Eddie Hurley (Oakton High School Class of 1996) and is awarded annually to a graduating senior who intends to attend college. The scholarship funds will be designated to help cover the costs of tuition and related expenses.
Eddie Hurley took seriously the importance of developing his personal character. He made clear his commitment to Service within his community, he exemplified Perseverance in the face of adversity, he lived with Integrity, and he modeled strong and moral Leadership. These were his priorities. The SPIL It Forward Scholarship aims to honor Eddie’s memory while encouraging and supporting young people who share these priorities.
Our hope is that scholarship recipients will SPIL It Forward, so to speak, and take their convictions about Service, Perseverance, Integrity, and Leadership to their new homes – their college campuses – where they can continue to grow into the best versions of themselves and enrich their communities.
